Description and Tasks
Antibiotic resistance is a growing global health threat. This project aims to track the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria over time, using real-world data to show:
- Resistance by country/region, highlighting areas with rising resistance rates.
- Trends in different antibiotics and the development of resistance in key bacterial strains (e.g., MRSA, E. coli).
- Hospital and community-level comparison, showing differences in resistance rates due to healthcare practices vs. lifestyle factors (e.g., excessive antibiotic use in agriculture).
- Predictive models for future outbreaks based on current resistance trends and the effectiveness of current interventions.
