Visualization-Guided Classification of Carbonized Seeds from Early Human Civilizations. (DAAV)

During the carbonization, the classification of archaeological seeds is a very difficult task. The goal of this work is to visualize important features and structures of CT-Volumes in a well understanding manner to support biologist solving this challenge. Comparison methods are also used to offer a selection of possibilities for the classification. Therefore Volume Rendering and Visual Analytics techniques are combined.
