Bio: Anja Heim is a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, working in the Knowledge-Based Image Processing and Visualization (WBV) group. Previously, she worked for three years at the Computed Tomography Research Group at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Campus Wels. She holds a BSc in Media Informatics and Visual Computing and an MSc in Visual Computing from the Vienna University of Technology. Her master thesis focused on the visual comparison of multivariate data ensembles. Currently, she is working on her PhD project on the visual analysis of high-dimensional data distributions in different domains as materials science and quantum computing.
