Integrating Simulation Results into Point Cloud Data

Abstract: The aim of this work is to integrate abstract and simulation data into a 3D point cloud visualisation in order to improve the management of railway infrastructure. By using advanced visualisation techniques, the project seeks to provide stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of track deterioration, supporting more effective maintenance planning and reducing carbon emissions. The project will use state-of-the-art methods from various fields, adapting and extending them to the railway sector to develop effective visualisations for railway systems.
